BSA 4 Spring Clutch Hub Adaptor - Large Taper - A and B Group Models Circa 1954-63
Clutch sleeve that fits on the gearbox shaft, and holds the clutch hub.
For use with a 4 spring clutch, standard fit on A7, A10 and later Goldstar models.
Suitable to use when converting from a 6 spring to a Triumph type 4 spring clutch on B31, B33, and earlier A7, A10 and Goldstar models.
Large taper version - ID: 5/8" (16.6mm) x 3/4" (19mm), Taper Length = 18mm
This larger taper version is used as required on some models when the chainwheel is out of alignment with the engine sprocket. The bigger taper allows the clutch hub to move IN towards the gearbox by a couple of mm, helping with chain alignment.
