Yamaha TY250 Twinshock Electronic Ignition Stator Kit - AC Ignition and Lighting - Electrex

Designed specifically for TY 250 and Majesty trials models to replace the original fixed timing points system with CDI electronic ignition.
Regulator included for the lighting system - as this is an AC system you will not be able to use LED bulbs. 
Utilises the original flywheel for simplicity and low cost.

CDI (capacitive discharge ignition) works by charging a capacitor within the combined HT-CDI unit from the source coil on the stator, this same coil also produces the timing signal. The cdi digitises the signal and uses the microprocessor to derive the pre-programmed ignition timing curve.

• Simple to fit, no machining required.

• The stator produces the energy and timing signal which feed the combined HT-CDI, producing a high voltage spark for very easy starting even when hot.

• Ignition advance is automatic which gives excellent performance throughout the rev range.

Very easy to install and set-up. Full wiring diagram and instructions supplied.
Kit contains: Stator, regulator, HT CDI + cap, kill switch and fitting kit.
