Lockheed Front Brake Master Cylinder Barrel and Piston - Reduced 1/2" Bore
Complete barrel and stud with internal piston assembly - 1/2" (13mm) bore, to make modulation by brake lever travel easier. The standard original fit is 5/8” (15.8mm).
These are specially made with a smaller internal bore which will provide a brake lever that is more sensitive and easier to use. Naturally you would think that a larger bore size would produce more pressure but that is not true. Larger bore master cylinders are going to give you a harder lever feel, as it is compressing a larger square area of fluid.
