1/4" x 1/4" BSP Main Fuel Tap - Flat Lever Type with Filter and Locknut - Premium UK Made
These taps are generally used on many BSA, Norton and Triumph models.
Main gas tap / petcock with a tube that allows reserve fuel to remain in tank.
Two position lever - lever vertical is ON, lever horizontal is OFF.
This premium quality tap is chrome plated cast brass with a fine mesh brass filter and locknut.
The internal mechanism has a tapered brass shaft with integral O ring, spring, flat washer and circlip - please see additional photos.
When the lever is rotated to the OFF position the hole in the shaft is horizontal therefore stopping the flow of fuel.

Tap outlet thread diameter: 1/2" (12.7mm) - as shown in the photos
