FERTAN is the optimal treatment for the removal of rust from all metal surfaces.
Ideal for use in fuel tanks before using a tank sealant.

Converts rust to an inert stable surface that can be painted with any paint or coating, on bare metal it prevents rust.
Used by many car manufacturers and restorers to resolve their rust issues it is superbly efficient and environmentally friendly.

Very efficient at stopping and removing rust. Loose rust is washed off as dust and the remainder is converted to form a stable and inert surface suitable for coating/priming

Use abrasives, brush, rough cloth or pressure washer to remove loose surface rust or more. It is vital that grease, oil, silicon and dirt are removed so de-grease as necessary. Dampen the surface with water and then apply FERTAN by brush, roller, spray or sponge. If touch dry after 2 hours, lightly damp the surface with water to maximise the penetration (not necessary when treating inside small sealed spaces). Then just leave FERTAN to work into the surface for 24 hours as 12C or 48 hours at lower temp. Then wipe off the loose black dust on the surface with a damp cloth or hose. Painting should be carried out within the next 3 months.

250ml treats about 3 to 3.75 sq. metres

May leave stains on pale coloured surfaces. We advise removing any splashes with a damp cloth.
FERTAN has an almost unlimited shelf life.
