Boyer Single Phase 12v Power Box Alternator Regulator With Charging Light Control
Single phase power box suitable for use on most pre 1978 British bikes with a single phase alternator including Triumph, BSA, Norton and Royal Enfield - singles twins and triples.
Includes a charging light circuit, therefore ideally suited to Norton and other models which have a charging lamp.
Self regulating rectifier with an internal voltage storing capacitor.
Intended for use with a battery, the charging lamp bulb should be no more than 10 watts.
Idea for converting a 6 volt system to 12 volt to provide more stable and reliable electrics which will also improve lighting.
Input: Any permanent magnet two or three wire single phase alternator stator - up to 180 watt.
Output: 13/14 volts DC - charging 12 volts.
Mounting: Mount in a free air position, within a battery box is fine but some air for cooling is required.
Length: 66mm, Width: 62mm, Height: 35mm - 92 x 66mm 4 hole mounting flange - 45 / 75mm between hole centres.
Wiring: Supplied with wiring diagram covering both positive and negative earth systems.
The unit has been designed using the latest power technology semi-conductors to provide stable, direct current from standard permanent magnet alternators.
