Replacement Lucas Energy Transfer (ET) Ignition Coil
For use on Triumph, BSA models with batteryless ignition.
This coil can be used for both 6V and 12V points, or CDI/ET ignition systems.
However, please note that this is not a standard coil for use in place of the normal ignition system coil.
The Energy Transfer system works this coil in a different manner (spark generated on exciting of the coil) to the normal coils (spark generated on the collapse of the field after discharge of the primary).
Unless you are replacing like-for-like, or you completely understand what ET is all about then this coil is NOT for you...
